PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door weather strip which intend to effectively prevent the reversing of the front end of an outer lip, and its removal from a door sash in the door closing time. SOLUTION: In a door weather strip 1 which is installed on a door sash, and contacted to the body opening B of an automobile, a hollow seal part 3 and an outer lip 4 which are projected from a base 2 supported by the door sash, and contacted to the body opening B, are provided, a thin wall lip 6 for reversing is attached to the car inner side near the front end 4a of the outer lip 4, the lip 6 for reversing is made in the condition superposing to the front end 4a of the outer lip 4 in the door closing time, and when the door D is opened, only the lip 6 for reversing is made in the turning over condition by reversing around a root part 6a so as to be peeled by the friction force of the pressure contacted body opening B, thereby to prevent the reversing of the front end 4a of the outer lip 4. |
