<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control to avoid contact with a vehicle in front of the driver's own vehicle by judging whether a warning operation or an avoiding operation is to be executed based on a plurality of predicted deceleration, and executing either of the warning operation or the avoiding operation based on the judged result. SOLUTION: The operating condition of a vehicle containing vehicle speed is detected by a processer ECU 16 and a vehicle wheel speed sensor 20, and the relative condition of an object against the vehicle detected by the processer ECU 16, a laser radar 12, and a laser output processing part 14 is detected with the processer ECU 16. The processer ECU 16 predicts a plurality of assumed deceleration based on output of the operating condition and the relative condition, based on the predicted respective deceleration, it judges whether a warning device 40 as a warning operation or a brake mechanism 22 as an avoiding operation is to be executed, and based on the judged result, either of the warning device 40 or the brake mechanism 22 is operated.</p> |
