PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high quality and high producing efficiency as much as possible by adopting as an optimum schedule a schedule wherein an evaluation index to a target value is highest even when a calculated schedule does not satisfy a target range of quality and a prescribed rolling capability. SOLUTION: When a pass schedule of a reversible rolling mill is decided, rolling starting data, a plate crown, a plate temperature target value and a reference rolling speed are set, an initial pass schedule is calculated, and whether it reaches a target range of quality and a prescribed rolling capability is judged. When the initial pass schedule is satisfied, the calculated pass schedule is adopted as it is, and when it is not satisfied, calculation is made again about plural combinations wherein respective target values are changed within the target range. Based on the result, an evaluation index of each pass schedule is calculated from each priority weight coefficient of the plate temperature, the plate crown and rolling efficiency and each target attained degree index of the plate crown and rolling efficiency, and the pass schedule whose evaluation index becomes maximum is adopted.
|
