<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of producing compost from a raw material such as waste fish, at remarkably lower running cost and equipment cost as compared with a conventional system. SOLUTION: This system is provided with: a combustion furnace 1 for combusting used tires and waste plastic products, that has a cooling water jacket 13 for cooling the combustion furnace 1 itself in its outer wall section; a drying kiln 2 for coarsely grinding and partly drying a raw material such as waste fish while rotating the raw material placed in a drum of the kiln 2, to form a pretreated raw material; a hot gas supply section 11 for supplying a hot gas that is generated in the combustion furnace 1 and used as a gas for drying the raw material, to the inside of the drying kiln 2; a forced fermentation vessel 3 for subjecting the pretreated raw material supplied from the drying kiln 2 to forced fermentation with microorganisms and drying, to compost the pretreated raw material; and a hot water supply section 33 for supplying hot water obtained in the cooling water jacket 13 of the combustion furnace 1 to the forced fermentation vessel 3, in order to heat the inside of the forced fermentation vessel 3 to a temp. appropriate for the activity of microorganisms and also to heat the air to be supplied to the inside of the fermentation vessel 3.</p> |
