PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dose counter for MDI to display the degree at which a pressure canister is pressed down to apply one dose of medicine. SOLUTION: A dose counter is mounted or mountable on the base of a pressure canister of a weighing type dose inhaler. This counter has a cap 14 with a spring load depressable onto a second part 1 mounted on a curved base of the canister C. A pair of independently ratable rings on the top surface of which respectively carry indexes visually recognizable from a window part 13 of the cap 14 is arranged inside the cap. The rotation of the first ring 4 is indicated each time the cap 14 is pressed down on the canister and the rotation of the second ring 8 is indicated as each complete rotation of the first ring 4 is made. Thus, the first ring 4 carries the number of 0-9 while the second ring 8, the number of 00-20 and this display device continues to count 200 down to 000 decrementally thereby displaying the number of doses left in the canister.
