OLIGONUCLEOTIDE FOR DETECTING ENTERITIS VIBRIO AND DETECTION OF THE SAME VIBRIO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oligonucleotide used for specifically detecting TRH (thyrotropin releasing hormone)-producing bacteria and to provide a method for detecting TRH-producing bacteria by means of the oligonucleotide. SOLUTION: This oligonucleotide for detecting TRH-producing bacteria has a nucleic acid sequence of 5'-RCCAGRRRCGGARGAGCRACRARR-3' (wherein, A is adenine; C is cytosine; G is guanine; R is thymine or uracil) or its complementary strand. The TRH-producing bacteria in a specimen are detected by labeling the oligonucleotide, by crossing the labeled nucleic acid probe with DNAs or RNAs in the specimen and by measuring the label of a bound hybrid.
