PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an image forming apparatus, to absorb a distortion generated in the connection of terminals, to facilitate the connection and separation of the terminals and to improve workability at replacement or maintenance of a component. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus that comprises a control circuit substrate 90, a control circuit 91 and a control means 2 for controlling flying of an image developing agent on an image developing agent carrier body by the control of the control circuit, forms an image by allowing the image developing agent to fly directly. In the control means 2, first cut-out sections 81a which are disposed in a direction parallel to a recording medium conveying direction and second cut-out sections 81b each being longer than the first cut-out section and having a cut-out section disposed in a direction perpendicular to the recording medium conveying direction are provided alternately. A plurality of first terminal groups 80 are provided to regions 82 which are divided by the first cut-out sections and the first terminal groups 80 can be connected to or separated from a plurality of terminal groups 93 provided to the control circuit substrate 90. |
