PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To largely reduce the number of bolts required for clamping by constituting a plurality of mold elements for forming an outer profile shape of a tread part of a tire and a plurality of segments detachably coupled to the elements to be automatically coupled by a locking mechanism. SOLUTION: After metal elements 101 are annularly arranged on a lower side mold 129 via a spacer ring 130, an upper side mold 126 is engaged with an inner periphery of an upper part of the element 101. Then, the elements 101 are clamped from its outer periphery by a band, and integrated. The integrated elements are conveyed to a table 127, and laced on an outer periphery of a register 128 to match an inner periphery of the mold 129. Thereafter, a band Sb is unclamped, a container ring 136 for suspending the segments 103 and a top plate 132 are moved down by a conveying implement 142, and the segments 103 are locked and coupled to the respective elements 101 by an engagement of a latching means 115 with a lock pin 102. |
