PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device capable of attaining desired thickness accuracy. SOLUTION: This coating device is composed of a freely rotatably pivoted coating roll 3, a comma roll 4 positioned nearly above the coating roll 3 and provided in parallel to the coating roll 3, a coating liquid feed part for supplying the coating liquid 2 to a gap fold between the coating roll 3 and the comma roll 4 and a rod-like body 5 for stirring the coating liquid, which is provided in parallel to the coating roll 3 and the comma roll 4. In such a case, a part or the whole of the rod-like body 5 for stirring the coating liquid is dipped in the coating liquid stored in the coating liquid feed part, the distance L1 from the surface of the comma roll 4 to the surface of the rod-like body 5 for stirring the coating liquid is 1.0-20 mm and the distance L2 from the surface of the coating roll 3 to the surface of the rod-like body 5 for stirring the coating liquid is 30-60 mm. |
