PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mold for molding a textured product which has high surface gloss, high grade feeling, and good scratch resistance and in which a defective appearance such as welds, nonuniformity, sink, flow marks, and others, which are generated in the product, can be made not to stand out and a method for producing the mold. SOLUTION: A texture pattern surface which is etched so that the distance between the recessed part 3a and protruded part 3b of the texture pattern formed on the surface of a mold 1 is 0.3-0.5 mm and the step difference between the recessed part 3a and the protruded part 3b is 20-40μm is subjected to primary blast treatment with the use of a bead-shaped blast projecting material T of 100-200 mesh particle size by 0.2-0.4 MPa compressed air pressure. Moreover, the texture pattern surface after the primary blast treatment is subjected to secondary blast treatment in which compressed air pressure is equal to or exceeding that in the primary blast treatment and 0.2 MPa or below, and the blast projecting material 7 is in the same conditions with those in the primary blast treatment. In this way, the mold 1 in which only the smooth traces of the blast projecting material are left on the textured uneven surface is finished.
