PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic egg breaker enabling eggs to be surely broken irrespective of their size without the need of any sensor for detecting their size, constantly with no fine tuning of a rotary blade according to egg size, and capable of reducing finely cracked powder production to approximately one-third compared to conventional cases and diminishing contamination of the part of cracked powder into egg contents to a minimum, and enabling partly broken eggs to be surely broken as well. SOLUTION: This automatic egg breaker has such a scheme that a turntable 2 revolving around a vertical shaft is provided with a plurality of egg-receiving holes 3 circumferentially at regular intervals, a hold 4 for putting weight on the top of each of eggs (a) set on the respective holes 3 is set up above the turntable 2, a rotary blade 5 is installed to cut a part of the outer circumference of a specified position of each of the eggs (a) projected from the underside of the respective holes 3 when the turntable 2 revolves around the vertical shaft, and an eggshell opening claw 6 so working as to be inserted into the cut (b) to effect opening the lower side of eggshell downward and cracking the eggshell is set up under the turntable 2. |
