PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preparation for external use, having a good handleability, allowing continuous administration for a long period, related to a permanent improvement of physical condition, and capable of manifesting a high antiallergic activities. SOLUTION: This preparation for external use contains a propolis, and an extract of a plant of Balsaminaceae, e.g. Impatiens balsamina as an active ingredient. The contents of the propolis and the extract of the Impatiens balsamina are each preferably 0.01-40 wt.%, and the amount of the formulated extract of the Impatiens balsamina is regulated so as to be 0.01-100 times as much as that of the propolis. The preparation for external use is formed into a liquid, jelly, emulsion, aerosol, ointment or powder shapes, and subjected to a dermal administration by formulating with an ointment, a cream, an emulsion, a lotion, a bathing agent or the like, and applying the formulated product on the diseased part of the skin for about one to three times per day, or dissolving the preparation in the warm water of a bath when bathing. |
