PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag deployment control device controlling the deployment of an air bag by adding the state of a vehicle before a collision. SOLUTION: A comparator 4 compares the output of an integrator 3 outputted from a G sensor 1 with a first reference value 5. The first reference value is selected as a value smaller than the reference value used for the normal collision judgment, the comparator 4 outputs an H-level signal before the occurrence of a collision is judged to enable a pre-collision state judgment section 12. The pre-collision state judgment section 12 judges the state of vehicle elements detected by a pre-collision state detection section 11 and affecting the attitude of an occupant. A reference value collection section 13 corrects the reference value used for the normal collision judgment based on the pre- collision state judged by the pre-collision state judgment section 12 as the set reference valueΔV3 fed to a comparator 15. An ignition switch SW 16 is triggered by the output of the comparator 15, thereby the ignition timing of the ignition switch SW 16 becomes the optimum timing.
