<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent exothermic composition from solidifying, even if oxidation of metallic powder such as iron powder proceeds upon use and to maintain soft touch and wearing feel, in the heating element utilizing exothermic composition made of metallic powder such as iron powder, salts and water. SOLUTION: In an inner bag 20 made of an air permeable material, heating composition 1 made by containing metallic powder, salts and water is stored and the exothermic composition 1 reacts with oxygen in air to generate heat. In the exothermic composition 1, powder of silicate consisting of crystal aggregate of 10 m<2> /g or more of specific surface preferably, powder made of spherical aggregate of acicular, planar or columnar crystal is contained.</p> |
