PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the standing up of a person with weak muscle force in getting off from a bed to stand up, and make it easy for a helper to get off the person from the bed by fixing a flap on a side edge in outward protruding state, and setting the protruding width within a prescribed dimension range. SOLUTION: This nursery bed 1 has flaps 2 on both side edges. The flap 2 is formed of a flat plate, and preferably set to a length extending from a headboard 3 to a footboard 4. However, the flap 2 may be set to a length shorter than the above length and arranged around the position of the arm of a person lying on the bed. The protruding width of the flap 2 is preferably set to 10-20 cm. When the person lying on the bed gets off the bed to stand up, the person sits on the flap 2 so as to move the lower parts of the knees of the legs under the flap 2, puts the palms on the flap 2, and supports the weight by both the legs and arms while moving the weight forward to stand up. |
