PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grass-proofing mat excellent in grass-proofing effect and having ground-reinforcing performance as well. SOLUTION: This grass-proofing mat 10 is composed of a support mat 12 of three-dimensional network structure with a thickness of 25 mm and a porosity of 95% and a mesh sheet 14 superposed upon the support mat 12; wherein the support mat 12 is such one that a plurality of polypropylene filaments 16 each 1 mm in diameter are regularly and kinkily extended horizontally, perpendicularly and slantly under mutual crossing, and the mesh sheet 14 is provided with meshes each with such a dimension that a plant grown inside the support mat 12 cannot pass through, for example, 2 mm×2 mm.
