PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer material for printer wherein a picture quality is improved by unifying a contact with a thermal head, and at the same time, the winding property of a film or a ribbon can be improved. SOLUTION: On one face (face A) of a biaxially oriented polyester film having a thickness of 1.5-13 μm, an ink layer is provided, and on the opposite face (face B), a back face coat layer is provided for this transfer material for printer, and the average roughness Ra of the face A of the film is 40-150 nm, and the average roughness Ra of the face B is 100 nm or lower, and also, is lower than the surface average roughness of the face A. |
