PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium and the manufacturing method of the same which can satisfy simultaneously wettability and dyeing property of ink and resistance to water, provided with sufficiently high transparency with respect to a usage demanding especially the transparency as represented in an OHP sheet and, further, permitting the obtaining of a very excellent quality of picture without being deteriorated despite the crosslinking in forming an ink receiver layer. SOLUTION: For an ink receiver layer, a material containing a copolymer consisting of at least three monomeric constituents of hydrophobic monomer, cation modified acrylic monomer and diacetone acrylamide is used, while dicarboxylic acid dihydrazide is preferably added into the copolymer to provide the same on a substrate 2 by heating and curing. |
