PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the compact shoulder belt upper end attaching tool of a backpack with excellent appearance without projecting both side end upper parts of upper and lower cover plates and without providing rivet holes on both side end upper parts of the upper and lower cover plates. SOLUTION: The opposite side faces of connection plates 4 to which attaching rings 3 are respectively attached are respectively provided with tooth parts 4a and the connection plates 4 are respectively freely swingably attached to the back abutting part 5a of the backpack 5 by engaging the tooth parts 4a with each other. Inward elastic force is respectively imparted to the connection plates 4, flexible tongue pieces 4c are projectingly provided on the respective outer side end upper parts of the connection plates 4 and a clearance is prevented from being formed on an upper side between the upper and lower cover plates 6a and 6b. Then, in the case that the connection plates 4 are swung and spread to an outer side, the tongue pieces 4c are bent along sliding parts 16 provided on the respective upper parts of the supporting parts 12 of the lower cover plate 6b. |
