HERMETICALLY CLOSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved hermetically closing apparatus which can prevent a molten material from leaking from a mold cavity when separation on a mold dividing line is performed. SOLUTION: A dynamic hermetically closing apparatus with two mold halves being relatively movable is provided. This dynamic hermetically closing apparatus is formed by a hermetically closed ring member 100 fitted or fixed on the mold half 120. The hermetically closed ring member 100 contains a hermetically closed part 106 contg. a rigid ring part 102 and a flexible hermetically closed member 108. The hermetically closed member 108 prevents a pressed molten material from leaking from the mold and it prevents burrs around a molded article from being formed. The hermetically closed member 108 is formed by decreasing the crosssectional area of a part of the hermetically closed part 106.
