摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process for oxide superconductor material that can improve the orientation of the oxide superconductor material and increase the critical current properties more than thrice of the conventional ones and provide an oxide superconductor material. SOLUTION: The production process of the oxide superconductor material 5 having at least one layer 3 of oxide superconductor and the substrate layer (1-1) comprises the step to form the composite material 4 having the layer of the oxide superconductor precursor 2 on at least one face of the substrate (1-1), the heat treatment step to melt at least a part of the superconductor precursor, then solidify the melt at a cooling rate of 10 deg.C/hr, so that the thickness of the oxide superconductor may come in the range within 10μm from the surface of the substrate finally. In a preferred embodiment, the oxide superconductor comprises a Bi oxide superconductor and the substrate is made of silver or a silver alloy. In a more preferred embodiment, this oxide superconductor is Bi-2212 (Bi2 Sr2 Ca1 Cu2 Oy ).
