MANUFACTURE OF PLASTIC PLATE FOR PRINTING MASK, AND PRINTING MASK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of processing accuracy due to thickening of an opening dimension of a printing mask by carrying out heat treatment before abrasion processing. SOLUTION: A plastic plate 1 for a printing mask is heat-treated before abrasion processing wherein an ultraviolet laser beam 3 is radiated on the plastic plate 1. After the plastic plate 1 is hardened in this heat treatment, abrasion processing is carried out to the plate. Thereby, thickening of an opening 2 dimension of the printing mask 1 can be reduced to one-second or one- third of the thickness in the case of not carrying out heat treatment.
