<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an immediate interruption of a paper discharge even when a communication with an external apparatus such as an image formation apparatus, etc., is interrupted. SOLUTION: A communication check is carried out after a ready check (S1→S2→S3). Whether a communication flag is set to '1' or not, that is, communication to an image formation apparatus is possible or not is judged (S4). When the answer is negative (No), the communication is judged to be cut off and a step S8 is started whereat whether a paper is being transferred or not is judged. When the answer is affirmative (Yes), a jam process is carried out (S9). On the other hand, when the answer is negative (No) and a leading end of a paper is detected, a paper discharge bin is determined and a paper transfer task is started (S10→S11→S12). In other words, a paper discharge time for a maximum paper size is set and the recorded paper being transferred is discharged to the bin.</p> |
