Cloth for concertina-like folding doors and walls and highly tear-resistant partitions comprises a textile support consisting of a polyolefin fibrous fleece, e.g. polyethylene or polypropylene, pref. a carded fleece with a surface density of 100-180 g/m2, coated on one side with plastics material. The cloth is produced by forming a plastics film on a sheeting calender or reverse coater, coating it on one side with adhesive, and bonding the fleece to it. In an example, a polyurethane or acrylic resin adhesive is used, and the plastics coating comprises a PVC foam layer which is covered on its outer surface with a compact PVC covering layer.
