<p>Flow meter is made of separate plastics components which are mostly injection moulded and which consists of any plastics material mixed with any expanding agent which provides a cellular core of the component with a smooth outer skin after a solidification of the thermoplastic composition in the injection moulding tool. Rigidity of the components is not affected by foaming, and the same vol. is produced with less material and hence reduced wt. The hub may be raised and the shaft shortened to prevent breakage of the shaft, and bores can be eliminated, which prevents turbulence.</p> |
