The dismountable connecting apparatus is designed for wall, furniture or shelving, preferably of transverse parts. It comprises a profiled rail having at least one tensionable coupling component held within a retaining body. The coupling component projects in front of the front side of the component to be joined to the profiled rail. The coupling component can be placed in a slot-like rail aperture stretching along the side of a covering line and positioned by means of an actuating screw. Two connecting members (24, 32) have a width smaller than that of the slot-like aperture (12). At least one member can be placed in the tightened position by the actuating screw (48).
