A roller barrier is designed to allow motor vehicles added protection when coming into contact for what ever reason. It is designed to allow vehicles to be brought under control by gently allowing the vehicle to be propelled along the barrier, rather than digging into the vehicle and thus causing loss of control and the vehicle to spin., or mount the barrier. Also, the rollers could be installed on metal fences currently placed by crossings ect to prevent vehicles digging in upon impact. The rollers project through slots in the barrier and may take the form of bearings or wheels. |
