A ski stick which is manufactured from a glass fibre reinforced plastic tube is used in partic. for use in cross country type ski races, and it constructed in such a way that the wall of the tube (2) consists of internal layers of flat pieces of fibre or textile glass, and pre-impregnated carbon fibres. A series of outer radial rolled layers are produced from plastics material which has been impregnated r saturated with fibre or glass fibre pieces is wrapped around the central reinforced glass fibre tube (2).
