<p>The strap guide mechanism is for use in conjunction with a press table forming coils of wire into bundles, and moves with the table. A compensator unit (24) is incorporated in the linkage between table and guide mechanism (22), so as to allow for movements of table and mechanism which are not exactly parallel to each other, and also for heat expansion in the guides between them. It can consists of one or more links, or a plain or roller bearing acting vertically on the guide faces to compensate for inaccuracies. Alternatively, it can be an elastic component such as a spring.</p> |
