<p>The quartz-oscillator alarm clock has the oscillator pulses supplied, via a frequency divider, to an electromechanical drive circuit for the wheels of the clock mechanism, operating the analogue time display. The clock wheels actuate a mechanical alarm switch, with the alarm source turned-off by a manual switch. The alarm circuit (40) has an AC circuit connected across the two inputs of a bistable multivibrator is controlled by the alarm circuit in the OFF position and through the manual alarm switch. The outputs of the two multivibrators are supplied to an AND gate controlling the alarm source.</p> |
