The aim of the invention is to provide a device for scraping clean an oil dipstick withdrawn from an oil pan for the purpose of determining the oil level, which device promotes the controlled disposal of items contaminated with oil. To this end the device provided for in the invention comprises a container (1) which has an opening (3) for inserting the oil dipstick and in which a scraping element (2) is held. Since the scraping element (2) remains inside the container when the oil dipstick is cleaned, users do not require wiping cloths, rags or paper. |
