摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running speed controller, by which a vehicle can be turned in a stable condition, for an industrial vehicle. SOLUTION: A CPU in a controller 12 controls a running motor 7 so as to set a vehicle speed complying with an actuation angle Q of an accelerator pedal 6. A steering angle sensor 10 and a yaw rate sensor 11 detect a steering angleθand a yaw rateωworking on a vehicle. On the basis of the steering angleθand the yaw rateωdetected by the steering angle sensor 10 and the yaw rate sensor 11, the CPU determines whether turning operation can be carried out stably or not with respect to a vehicle speed Vn complying with the actuation angle Q of the accelerator pedal 6. If it is determined that turning operation cannot be carried out stably, the CPU applies a brake to wheels by using brakes 26, 27 so as to lower the vehicle speed.
