PURPOSE:To provide a graph plotter capable of plotting character string data as the elements of a graph. CONSTITUTION:An input means 10 inputs data for registering element data constituted of an element name (label) and its corresponding numerical data or character string data. A data writing means 20 writes the data inputted by the means 10 in a storage means 30. The means 30 stores an element name and numerical data or character string data corresponding to the element name for each element data. At the time of laying out a graph based upon the contents stored in the means 30, a graph plotting means 40 plots a character string coresponding to character string data concerned as a graphic element on a position where the graphic element is to be plotted based upon numerical data included in element data when the character string data concerned are included in the element data. |
