The present invention pertains to the field of medicine and essentially relates to a preparation that contains a live culture of Bacillus. This preparation contains predetermined amounts of a traditional filler, of a recombinant strain of B. subtilis producing the human alpha-2-interferon and of a live culture of B. licheniformis. This preparation is used for treating viral infections such as hepatite, herpes, encephalitis, etc., bacterial infections such as enteritis, colitis, chlamydiosis, vaginitis, etc., as well as immuno-deficiency conditions. The purpose of this invention is to increase the number of means for treating viral and bacterial infections as well as immuno-deficiency conditions without using invasive methods.
