摘要 Precipitation is carried out at a temperature characteristic for the respective plastic. Rotation and flow forces (a) produce a structurally-orientated arrangement and (b) can be used for immediate separation of the precipitated plastic. The structure so formed, assists drying of the product. In addition, the fiber orientation confers self-reinforcement to the product. Preferred features: Fractions to be separated are dissolved fully in suitable solvent with agitation and optionally, temperature increase, depending on the solvent. Recovered plastic purity depends solely on residual solvent content in the solid. Raw material composition affects only yield of the fractions, but not their composition. Plastic can be obtained from components which are whole and/or comminuted, with or without pre-cleaning. Plastic arises as composite, in sheet or other forms. This may or may not be mechanically pretreated, e.g. comminuted and/or precleaned to allow separation. Plastic is sourced from industrial and/or production wastes, with or without mechanical pretreatment as described. Precipitation occurs in succession as individual fractions, at characteristic temperatures. Formation of pre-orientated structures during precipitation, enhances solvent elimination during solidification, over prior art. This may increase strength of the recovered plastic and/or parts made from it.
