摘要 A batch of sausages released from preparation and cooking is released via a conveyer (3,5,30) to a packing machine robot (33,34). During their passage to the robot, the sausages are aligned to a uniform orientation which simplifies their recognition to an optical recognition device (4) or a scanner (31,32) and associated control mechanism. The control mechanism then places each sausage selected into the appropriate container for larger or smaller sausages.
