The invention concerns a device for actively controlling acoustic impedance in an audio transducer (1) to a medium wherein it radiates, comprising at least one impedance bridge whereof one branch includes an electrical impedance between the two transducer terminals, means for measuring the transducer membrane velocity, and means for measuring the acoustic pressure exerted on the transducer membrane. The pressure measuring means operates by sampling a measuring voltage (V>d<) on the impedance bridge. The excitation voltage (V>R<) applied on the impedance bridge (2) is a combination of the two measured values.
