Hydraulic brake system for regulated and gentle braking

The hydraulic brake system includes a hydraulic pump (16) to build up a hydraulic pressure for braking, and a valve device by which this pressure can be reduced. The valve device is in the form of an analog valve. The analog valve and the hydraulic pump are controlled by a control device in such a manner that the brake pressure for gradual braking can be raised or reduced without apparent steps.
