A multipurpose water delivery system (2), and method of construction, having an internal assembly consisting of water delivery conduit (42) and various connectors (40, 44, 50); an external assembly (4) housing the internal assembly and through which accessories such as shower heads (20), valves (14), and hose bibs (12) can be connected to the internal assembly; and a non-threaded twist-resistant mounting base (10) which can be installed onto hard surfaces (62) or into soil (64). Portable embodiments are connected to positive pressure water supplies through a conventional garden hose (48), and twisting and lifting forces applied to external assembly (4) can quickly separate it from mounting base (10). An adjustable plumb ring (22) assists in off-level installations. Lighting fixtures (78), hose supports (52), mail boxes (84), bait cutting tables (58), seats (60), and service connections (76) for cable television, electricity, and telephone may also be connected to external assembly (4). |
