<p>A personal care formulation which is obtainable from the reaction of an ethylenically unsaturated sulfonic acid or carboxylic acid or anhydride thereof with a nonionic surfactant of the formula (1): R1-O-(alkylene-O)n1-R2, in which R1 is C8-C22alkyl or C8-C18alkenyl; R2 is hydrogen, C1-C4alkyl, a cycloaliphatic radical having at least 6 C atoms or benzyl; and n1 is a number from 1 to 60; and if appropriate with sugar derivatives, the preparation of these agents, their use in cosmetic formulations, and cosmetic formulations comprising the surface active agents.</p> |
