The invention relates to a method for producing membranes according to which a moulded part is prepared from a mouldable melt, solution or suspension of a polymer (A). Said method is characterized in that the moulded part contains a substance (B) which is different from the polymer (A) and can be enzymatically broken down and in that the moulded part is treated with an enzyme which is able to break down said substance (B). Cellulose is preferably used as the polymer (A).
