A base plate (11) is horizontally secured to a sleeve (5) forming an extension of the implant (1) anchored in the jaw bone, once the height and rotary positions of the sleeve have been set relative to the jaw bone. Impression material is applied to the jaw bone-facing side of the plate in order to take an impression of the jaw bone and the implant, and once it has hardened it is removed together with the sleeve and base plate still secured to each other. An Independent claim is also included for the device used to take the bite impression. |
