<p>An electric fence energizer which comprises a capacitor connected across a power supply to an output transformer. An SCR is provided between the capacitor and the primary stage of the transformer and the SCR is arranged to discharge the capacitor. A controllable switch is provided with a control circuit which controls the charge in the capacitor via the controllable switch and also triggers the SCR.</p> |
