The press mold unit, to give a molded body, from a paper pulp, has three press surfaces (11-13). The center zone (111,131) of each surface is higher than the flanking zones (112,122,132) at each surface. Two of the press surfaces (11,12) are parallel to each other, and the third surface (13) is at right angles to them and links them together. The raised surface sections (111,131) are flat, flanked by angled side zones (112,122,132), aligned inwards and downwards. One angled surface links the first and third press surfaces, and the other angled surface links the second and third press surfaces. In an alternative format, the center sections of each press surface are recessed, flanked by angled zones which are aligned outwards and upwards, linking the first and third surfaces and the second and third surfaces. An Independent claim is included for a molded unit of paper material, with three corrugated surfaces, and a corrugated base surface. Preferred Features: The surfaces can be of angled corrugations, with flat and corrugated zones, in widths which are set according to the anticipated weight loadings, when used in packaging. The molding has a number of molded sections, using selected surfaces in contact with the packaged items according to requirements. A further Independent claim is included for a molding assembly, to produce paper pulp molded bodies in a variety of sizes. Preferred Features: The molding assembly has a set of upper and lower mold sections, with upper and lower plates and a netting body for the dimensions of the molding to be inserted into the lower mold sections. The pulp is poured into the molds, for the water to be pressed out, with the pressure set to give the required molded wall thickness. The molding is finally dried.
