PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label type thermal transfer sheet in which a good transfer recording can be carried out at high image density while preventing thermal curl at the time of transfer and an image forming part can be released easily and surely from a separator, i.e., a sheet part, after recording a transfer image. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer sheet 1 comprises a release layer 3, an adhesive layer 4, a sheet basic material 5 and an image receiving layer 6 formed sequentially on a foamed releasing sheet 2. A supporting part 8 comprising the foamed releasing sheet 2 and the release layer 3 can be stripped from an image receiving sheet part 9 comprising the sheet basic material 5 and the image receiving layer 6 and the supporting part 8 is subjected to half-cut processing, as shown by a cut line 7, at a specified part of the image receiving sheet part 9. The image receiving sheet is sectioned by half-cut processing and a desired transfer image can be formed in a section region. |
