PURPOSE:To inhibit the formation of coarse particles and to obtain the title fine particles having a narrow particle size range by bringing an aq. soln. of a mixture of a ferrous salt with a ferric salt and an ag. NH4OH soln. into a reaction under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:When an aq. soln. of a mixture of a ferrous salt such as FeCl2 with a ferric salt such as FeCl3 is allowed to react with an aq. NH4OH soln. to produce the title fine particles, the aq. soln. of the iron salt mixture is added to the aq. NH4OH soln. preferably kept at pH>=8.0 and they are brought into a reaction. |
