Foil packing machine with suction lifting device for sausages

A packaging machine is supplied with a foil web (14) that is fed over a vacuum plate where recesses are deep drawn in the foil. The recesses are then packed with sausages, a second foil is placed over the first and the foil edges are sealed. The individual packs (18) of sausages are cut from the web by a die tool with an incorporated suction unit (146). After the sausage pack has been cut from the web, the pack is lifted clear.
