A functional fluorocopolymer which comprises functional vinyl ether units derived from a hydrocarbon and tetrafluoroethylene units, has a fluorine content of 10 wt.% or higher, and is substantially insoluble in tetrahydrofuran. The fluorocopolymer has excellent adhesion to substrates and can be easily cross-linked.
