The present invention pertains to the field of fire-extinguishing systems and relates to an ozone-friendly fire-extinguishing material on the basis of a polymeric composition. This material comprises a cold-solidification polymeric binder as well as a micro-encapsulated fire-extinguishing agent, wherein said agent consists of substances selected from the group of organic halogen compounds of the formulae C3F7I or CnF2n+2 or (C2F5)2N(CmF2m+1) in which n = 5 - 7 and m = 1 - 2. The components of this composition are selected in the following amounts: from 40 to 60 wt.% of micro-encapsulated fire-extinguishing agent, the balance consisting of the polymeric binder. The cold-solidification polymeric binder is selected from the group of polyepoxides containing diane or aliphatic epoxide resins (including those containing chlorine) or a mixture of diane and aliphatic epoxide resins or from the group of polyurethanes. The material consists of a heat-reactive polymeric composition containing a dispersion filler in the form of a micro-encapsulated fire-extinguishing agent. The fire-extinguishing agent is made in the shape of microcapsules each consisting of microspheres having a diameter of between 100 and 400 νm, wherein said microspheres are made of a polymeric envelope that contains a liquid fire-extinguishing agent. According to the casting form used, the material can be produced in the shape of liner sheets, in the shape of formed articles having a given configuration or in the shape of a cold-solidification putty.
|
