The vertical or horizontal vacuum pump or compressor has twin parallel screw spindle displacement rotors, synchronized mechanically by cogwheels in a ratio of 1:1. The lifting vol. at the outlet side is greater than at the suction inlet side. A hollow zone (15) is within the displacement rotors, for a constant inflow of cooled oil and outflow of heated oil to take off generated heat. The inner wall of the hollow zone has a slight conical angle, expanding towards the outlet side.
